Try this exquisite KHEER recipe by Diksha B Singh with HM SPECIAL KHEER RICE:

“Gur-Chawal ki kheer " is a rich creamy sweet dish. It is a traditional sweet dish made of rice, milk, jaggery (Gur), ghee and nuts. The use of jaggery instead of sugar makes it even more tasty and healthy.

Prep time:  10 mins      Cook time:  30 mins

INGREDIENTS:
1 cup HM Special Kheer rice soaked for at least 1 hr
1/2 cup jaggery
5-8 chopped cashews
5-8 chopped pistachios
3 crushed rose petals
2 green cardamoms
1/2 litre milk
1/2 tsp ghee

PROCESS:
-    Put the pan on medium flame and sauté the rice in ghee for 5 minutes.
-    Put off the flame, cool and grind in a mixture jar.
-    Now again take a pan add milk & boil it for few minutes.
-    Add grinded rice and cook for 15 minutes on a low flame, stir it continuously.
-    Now add cardamom powder & chopped nuts. Mix it and boil for 5 minutes.
-    Switch off the flame.
-    Now add jaggery (Gur) and mix it nicely.
-    Gur-Chawal ki Kheer is ready.
-    Take a bowl, put Gur-Chawal ki kheer in it. Add the mix of chopped nuts, rose petals and serve it hot.
